Digital scare to supply chain – Shrikrishna Dikshit

Recently, a significant supply chain attack has come to light, sending shockwaves through the cybersecurity landscape. This attack centre’s around the discovery of a backdoor embedded within specific versions of the widely-utilized utility, XZ Utils, in the Linux ecosystem. This insidious backdoor has the potential to grant malicious actors unrestricted and unauthorized access to systems utilizing the affected versions.
