Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the platform for “Transparent Taxation – Honoring the Honest” via video conferencing on the 13th August 2020. Faceless assessment, faceless appeal, taxpayer charter are the three major pillars of the platform.

Our experts, Aravind Srivatsan, Shailesh Kumar and Neha Malhotra welcomed the move and said, Statutory status for Taxpayers’ Charter will be a decisive step in empowering taxpayers by ensuring timely action, fair, courteous & reasonable treatment to taxpayer . Faceless-appeal is another commendable move by the government rightly intending to further reduce physical interaction between the tax authorities and the tax payers.
