Govt. announces 25% cut in TDS/TCS rate for non-salary payments- Rakesh Nangia

FM Nirmala Sitharaman on 13 may, 2020 shared the first instalment of the mega Rs 20 lakh crore package with the focus being on the relief to the MSME sector.

The host of announcements for the benefit of individual and business taxpayers have been welcomed by our experts Rakesh Nangia, Chairman and Sandeep Jhunjhunwala, Director, Nangia Andersen.

According to Mr Nangia, FM announcements have shown a glimpse of Government’s vision and further relief and stimulus to many other sectors is expected to be announced in days to come, which will help re-start the wheels of economy presently halted by the COVID-19.
