Dr. Rizwan Reza

At present he is working as a Manager with the Government and Public Sector Advisory vertical at Nangia Andersen LLP. Before this important assignment, he has worked as Environment cum Solid Waste Management consultant with KPMG (Infrastructure Government and Healthcare). Prior to that, he has also worked as environmental consultant in various project vis. Bharatmala (Highways), Railways (DFCCIL), Mining, SWM, and Infrastructure projects. He gathered a good amount of professional experience in managing project deliverables in government as well as private sectors. He also has expertise in EIAs and EMPs and got various FAEs accreditation from NABET (QCI).

He has done Master (Environmental Science) from BVP, Pune and Ph.D (Environmental Science) from ISM-IIT. Involved in various R&D and Consultancy projects particularly World Bank aided projects of MoEFCC and Coal India Limited on Environmental Management & Capacity Building for Mining Sector. Also published more than 10 National and International research articles on Environmental studies.

He has over 12 years of experience majorly in Environmental Consulting and Governments Advisory and implementation of urban sector policies and comprehensive protocols/toolkits for States and Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), SBM(U), ODF, FSTP, sanitation, and circular economy.
