Neelu Khatri is an expert on Government procurement processes and a Supply Chain Expert. She has done an Executive MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and specialization in Supply Chain MBA from Management Development Institute at Gurgaon..
Neelu is an Ex Indian Air Force Officer commissioned in 1993 and was a proud part of the initial batch of Women Officer. She a Wing Commander and has 15 years of experience of heading various squadrons as a Supply Officer with the primary job of preventing AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situation. Her primary job for these 15 years entailed warehousing, inventory control, procurement, acquisition, etc. She has worked on various national and international projects with companies like Boeing, Airbus, Safran, Thales, Dassault, Tata, Mahindra, L&T and scores of small and medium enterprises in India and globe. Most recently she was the President of Honeywell Business in India handling more than USD300 mn of direct sales and engineering. Her strength lies in Indian Defence Acquisition Procedure and working with Indian Government both at centre and state level in Aviation and Defence industry. She has enabled various small and medium companies in strategizing step change growth by handholding them through the process of becoming Suppliers to Global OEMs.
Currently Neelu heads the government consulting practice of the firm engaging in various matters such as Aviation, Airports, Defence, Security and Space
Neelu has written and published many media articles and Thought Leadership documents on the subject of Defence Procurement and Offset Policy in India and is an avid influencer for Diversity professionals on how to break glass ceilings/maintain work-life balance. Neelu is an avid trekker, biker and loves to read in free time.
Neelu mentors various young women from many organisations and entrepreneurs of small/start up companies in India.
