Nischal S Arora serves as a Director in Nangia Andersen Consulting Pvt. Ltd Noida office. Nischal has over 14 years of experience in Inbound & Outbound Investment advisory and structuring across sectors. His area of specialisation comprises Foreign Investment Policy, Exchange Control regulations and Corporate and other allied laws. He has assisted numerous foreign companies in setting up their business structures under both regulated and automatic route sectors.
Over the years, Nischal has gained an extensive experience in obtaining permission from the Government of India for foreign investment by MNCs in sectors such as Retail & e-commerce, Telecom, Pharmaceuticals, Financial Services etc. He has also been assisting clients in obtaining nodal ministry licenses/ permissions for commencing business operations in India, Non-Profit Foundation structuring and implementation support and obtaining approvals from the Apex Bank (RBI) towards various exchange control matters.
Nischal has been making representations to various government authorities for Industry representations on operational issues, legal clarifications, compounding matters, condonation of offences under exchange control and Company Law matters. As a result, Nischal has developed strong professional relationships with officials at various Government Ministries and departments.
Nischal was working as Portfolio Head for HT Media Ltd, a leading Indian Print Publication Company listed on the National Stock Exchange. He was previously associated with PwC for over 9 years in the Tax and Regulatory Services Division and with KPMG for three years. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Nischal also holds a degree in law, and B.Com (Hons) from Delhi University. He is been an active speaker at various forums of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India during the last decade and has authored various thought leaderships articles and leading newspaper publications.
