Aravind Srivatsan
Aravind leads the Tax practice of Nangia Andersen and joined the firm in July 2019. Aravind has been a partner since 2010; across KPMG and PwC, working across Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai offices
Aravind has assisted several fortune corporations in carefully executing their business plans in India across diverse sectors which include Auto, Infrastructure, Financial Services, Life sciences & Manufacturing.
Aravind advices several Indian conglomerates (especially listed companies) & promoter driven business on practical solutions to key stakeholders, CFO & Tax heads. These include assistance on complicated tax positions, on acquisitions/divestments combining aspects of IND-AS, commercial regulations, aspects of Foreign trade policy, Customs law and cross-border business arrangements, integrating a holistic advice to a specific situation.
Aravind also advises clients on emerging regulations of the Govt of India such as the PLI scheme to encourage champion (or) high growth sectors and in dealing with futuristic business models (such as renewables, EV, Life sciences, Fin-tech & Agri-business).
Aravind has core domain expertise on perfecting a business model, developing an operating structure for large and mid-market clients, which allows them to run business efficiently maximising governance and delivering superior shareholder returns.
Aravind has worked on advocacy initiatives and dispute resolution mechanisms, which include consultation with the senior officials in the CBDT & in North Block. Aravind has closely worked for industry causes with Key trade bodies such as Amcham, UK- TI, FICCI, Madras-Chamber and BCAS.
